Sponsor – P ‘Le Grande fromage’ Snowball

Patch Snowball
Patch is the main supplier of funds for lucosade and pork pies (and Mongoose itsef!). Thanks Patch
Driver – Tony ‘lobby lobster’ Harris
Photo and Tony chat to come soon. The crew consists of the infamous Team 24 (+1) from London Town nee. Exeter University. All are partial to copious amounts of lash, and have a good time on and off the water, every time.
Trim/Nav/Cockpit co-ordinator – Snowy (T)

Snowy
Snowy (Team 24) carved his stalking prey techniques with Formula 1 sailing (before they went bust obviously). Since then he has probably been on more boats than girls, including Bear of Britain, Erivale I and the occasional quarter tonner. He has recently acquired nav tactician skills, and if you don’t see him you’ll definitely hear him.
Bow – Grant R-C

GRC
GRC, AKA Tommy the Nuts (Team 24). Mongoose Stalking Prey 24/7 on the pointy end of the boat. Grant started race sailing in 2000 and has since been around the Solent a few times. In Cowes 2007 he earned the title Solent Hazard no. 1, lash was involved.
Mast – Andre 69,000

Andre
Andre (Team 24) lost his Solent racing virginity with Mongoose in the 2009 season. While a novice on the racing scene he is no stranger to stoking his guns, which is his third favourite past time after lashing and noshing. If you need a man to hoist your sails faster and harder than anyone else, who you gonna call? – Andre.
Ali Big Guns Yarrow

Ali
Ali ‘Big Guns’ Yarrow (Team 24) can be found on the boat when not with Charlie (wife – ‘she is soo lucky’) or at home looking after Sparky (family dog). Having been introduced to sailing with a Fastnet campaign, and some sailing with Snowy on Erivale I, he offers himself as a utility player (trying to) fit in a number of positions…
Pit B*tch – CJD Wood

Woody
Woody (+1) has also come onto Mongoose as his first Solent racing season in 2009, although he is not totally new to the water after spending many summers mincing in Salcombe. He has taken to Pit like a, well like a girl, showing his exemplary tidying and multitasking skills.
Main Trim – Sammy Seagul
Eh up, hike you lazy basterds. That’s right, resident of Hamble but originally from northern climes Sam Seagul run his own boat maintenance company (Sam Jones Marine) and helps keep us level headed at the back of the boat.
Spare crew / non full-time
Capt. A Kennard -AK 47
Arrived on the boat in Cowes 2009 and turns up each year. Favours the grind on the boat, tries and fails off it. Not his first racing experience, but is better known for conducting extreme holidays around the world.

If someone does not mention the sponsor pretty damn quick you will be competing at Cowes on the Red Funnel Ferry!!! Great to see all your successes, wish I was with you – Big Snowy (AKA the Belfast Trouble Shooters)
